Studio 3D animation and animated shorts I've seen enough, both in 2D and in 3D. But these two are the very best that's been going around.
The first is an animated short called Shane Acker "9" , nominated for an Oscar in 2006.
The 9/9/9 will premiere a movie based on this short directed by Acker and produced by Tim Burton. So imagine what it is.
The second is a short film I like very much. called "A Tale of Rock" . It is very nice. Rock and Roll baby!
